Thales didnt "proved" that all things are made up of water it was more of a philosophical hypothesis and an observation rather than a scientific fact. Like his another observation that earth floats in water which is again a hypothesis and proven to be false. While the Quran is the proof that All living things are made from water (21:30) and each and everything mentioned in Quran is true no science can deny anything that is mentioned in the Quran 1400 years ago. The Quran also mentioned that the Iron was sent down on earth by Allah(God) (57:25) which was also a hypothesis by ancient philosophers but was "proved" by Quran 1400 years ago and "proved" by science in 1928.
